The Breitling Superocean Automatic 44, reference A17376, is a well-executed 44 mm stainless steel professional dive watch with a clean black dial featuring broad luminescent Super-LumiNova indexes and squared-off hands — a layout directly inspired by the original Slow Motion design codes and optimised for maximum underwater legibility. The unidirectional rotating bezel carries a black ceramic insert, virtually scratchproof and fade-resistant — a meaningful upgrade over earlier aluminium versions. At its heart beats the COSC-certified Breitling Calibre 17, based on the ETA 2824-2, running at 28,800 vph with 26 jewels and a power reserve of approximately 38 hours — a proven and dependable movement.
