The IWC Big Pilot, reference IW500401, features a 46.2 mm stainless steel case with a classic black dial designed for maximum readability. Large Arabic numerals, luminous hands, and the iconic power reserve indicator at 3 o’clock give the watch its unmistakable pilot-watch identity. Powered by the in-house IWC caliber 51110 automatic movement, it delivers an impressive 7-day (168-hour) power reserve, a frequency of 21,600 vph, and functions including hours, minutes, central seconds, date display at 6 o’clock, and a power reserve indicator.

A convex sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides protects the dial and is secured against displacement caused by sudden drops in air pressure. The oversized screw-down crown reinforces the aviation tool-watch character. With 60 meters of water resistance, the Big Pilot is designed for everyday wear while staying true to its cockpit-instrument roots. This model is fitted on a black leather strap with a stainless steel riveted pin buckle, completing the classic Big Pilot aesthetic.
