TAG Heuer was founded in Saint-Imier, Switzerland in 1860 and built its identity around precision timekeeping for sport and motorsport. The Carrera, introduced in 1963 by Jack Heuer and named after the legendary Carrera Panamericana road race, remains the brand's most iconic chronograph reference. 

Reference CAR2012.FC6235 is a 43 mm stainless steel automatic chronograph, 16.3 mm in thickness, with a polished case and pushers at two and four o'clock. The white dial carries rose gold-toned Arabic numerals at all twelve hour positions and matching rose gold-toned hands, with three subdials: a 30-minute counter at twelve, a small seconds register at nine and a 12-hour counter at six, with a date window integrated at six o'clock. At its heart beats the TAG Heuer Calibre 1887, a column-wheel operated automatic chronograph movement running at 28,800 vph with 39 jewels and a 50-hour power reserve, visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal sits above. The fixed polished stainless steel bezel carries a fine minutes scale around its inner edge. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres. The watch is presented on a light grey textile strap with a stainless steel deployant clasp.

This TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 1887 is in near-mint condition and comes as a full set. It features a recently replaced aftermarket black racing strap. Serviced in 2025, it includes a 1-year warranty.
