Doxa SUB 300 Carbon Divingstar
Founded in 1889 in Le Locle, Switzerland, Doxa is one of the true pioneers of professional dive watch design — a brand that changed the dive watch world in 1967 with the original SUB 300 and its patented no-decompression bezel. The SUB 300 Carbon takes that iconic formula and pushes it into genuinely modern material territory, combining the classic Doxa DNA with a striking forged carbon case.
The Doxa SUB 300 Carbon Divingstar, reference 822.70.361.20, is a boldly executed 42.5 mm professional dive watch with a forged carbon case — a material that is as light as it is tough, and one that catches the eye with its distinctive layered surface texture. The vivid yellow dial with Super-LumiNova luminescent indices and handset is immediately striking and unmistakably functional underwater, with Doxa's patented no-decompression bezel adding genuine practical value for divers. A domed box sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment pays homage to the curved plexiglass of the original 1967 SUB 300. The titanium inner chamber and screw-in caseback keep the overall weight impressively low. At its heart beats the COSC-certified ETA 2824-2, running at 28,800 vph with a power reserve of 38 hours — a proven and reliable movement befitting a serious dive watch. Water resistance is rated at 300 metres, backed by a screw-down crown. The watch was originally delivered with the yellow rubber strap (reference 822.70.361.31 as noted on the warranty card) and is presented here on a black rubber strap with the distinctive DOXA fish symbol deployant clasp — offering a more understated look while retaining the full Doxa character.
This SUB 300 Carbon Divingstar is from July 2023, is in near mint condition and comes as a full set with an unworn strap.
