The Tank Solo distils that legacy into its purest and most accessible form, staying remarkably close to the original 1917 proportions.

The Cartier Tank Solo Large, reference WSTA0028, is a beautifully proportioned 34.8 x 27.4 mm stainless steel watch with a pale silvered opaline dial featuring black Roman numerals, a fine inner minute track and the signature blued-steel sword-shaped hands — a dial layout that is unmistakably and timelessly Cartier. The beaded steel crown set with a synthetic cabochon-shaped spinel adds that final touch of jewellery-house refinement. Powering the watch is the Cartier Calibre 690 quartz movement, accurate and virtually maintenance-free. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial. Water resistance is rated at 30 metres. The watch is fitted on a black grained calfskin leather strap with a steel double adjustable folding buckle.
