Introduced in 1952, the Breitling Navitimer took the design and movement of the Chronomat and made it an aviation instrument. With a slide rule bezel designed to solve calculations on the fly, the Navitimer was more than a watch — it was a helpful wrist-mounted navigation computer for pilots of the day.

The Navitimer World GMT was designed for pilots and international travelers as a larger version of the standard Navitimer. This Navitimer is from december 2008 with the lovely white dial. It is in very good condition, with some hairlines on the AR coating of the sapphire and with an aging inner box.
