Reference AK801SJSBL is a 43 mm stainless steel automatic watch, 16.2 mm in thickness, with a 316L stainless steel case decorated with carbon fibre patches and a signature cobra-head case shape with the crown positioned at twelve o'clock. The royal blue dial is constructed from 3D copper and aviation-grade aluminium with a Geneva woven surface pattern, with Swiss Super-LumiNova on the numerals and minute scales. Time is read via Atowak's patented 360°-revolving satellite hour wheel system: three aluminium and carbon fibre arms rotate continuously, each carrying an hour numeral that revolves 120° at a time to indicate the correct hour — a mesmerising display unlike anything in conventional watchmaking. At its heart beats a modified Miyota 9039 automatic movement. The dual sapphire crystal construction features a trapezoidal upper opening and a polygonal lower crystal, both scratch-resistant. Water resistance is rated to 30 metres. The watch is supplied with two wearing options: a royal blue leather strap with quick-release buckle and a 316L stainless steel bracelet with butterfly clasp, both tool-free swappable.
