Tudor was founded in Geneva in 1926 as a sister brand to Rolex, created to offer Swiss-made tool watches at a more accessible price point. Over the decades the brand has built a strong independent identity, and the Black Bay collection — rooted in Tudor's 60-year history of producing dive watches for professionals — has become its most celebrated modern line. The Black Bay Chrono S&G is the Steel & Gold variant of Tudor's first in-house chronograph, combining the collection's heritage-inspired design with the warmth and contrast of 18k yellow gold accents throughout.

Reference M79363N-0001 is a 41 mm stainless steel automatic chronograph, 14.4 mm in thickness, with a polished and satin-finished case. The black domed dial carries Tudor's signature snowflake hands and round dot hour markers in yellow gold, with two yellow gold subdials — a 45-minute counter at nine and a 30-minute counter at three — alongside a central chronograph seconds hand in matching gold tone. A date window sits at six o'clock. The crown and screw-down pushers at two and four o'clock are in solid yellow gold. At its heart beats the Tudor Manufacture Calibre MT5813, COSC-certified, running at 28,800 vph with a 70-hour power reserve. The domed sapphire crystal sits above. The fixed bezel carries a solid 18k yellow gold frame with a matt black anodised aluminium tachymeter insert and yellow gold markings. Water resistance is rated to 200 metres. The watch is fitted on a steel and yellow gold bracelet — with solid yellow gold centre links at six and twelve o'clock and gold-capped steel centre links throughout — with a folding clasp and safety catch.
