Founded in Le Locle, Switzerland in 1853, Tissot has spent over 170 years making Swiss craftsmanship accessible without compromise. Reference T41.1.317.31 is a 42 mm stainless steel automatic chronograph with a well-executed dress watch character — a relatively rare combination that makes it equally at home at the office or at a formal occasion. The polished round case measures 13 mm in thickness and carries pushers at two and four o'clock in the traditional Valjoux layout. The silver-champagne dial is nicely structured, with applied baton hour markers, slim dauphine hands and three tone-on-tone silver subdials: a 30-minute counter at nine, an hour counter at twelve alongside a large-format day and date display, and a 60-second running seconds register at six. At its heart beats the ETA Valjoux 7750, one of the most proven automatic chronograph movements in existence, running at 28,800 vph with 25 jewels and a power reserve of approximately 45 hours. Both front and caseback are protected by sapphire crystal. The fixed polished bezel keeps the design clean and elegant. Water resistance is rated to 30 metres. The watch is presented on a leather strap with a deployment clasp.
