Introduced in 1969 as the world's first square waterproof automatic chronograph, the Monaco's reputation was sealed two years later when Steve McQueen wore the original Heuer reference 1133 throughout the 1971 racing film Le Mans — casually making it one of the most iconic watches in cinema history. The current CAW211P is a faithful modern reinterpretation of that exact reference: blue dial, left-side crown, and all.

Reference CAW211P.FC6356 is a 39 x 39 mm stainless steel automatic chronograph, 14 mm in thickness, with the Monaco's signature square case, short integrated lugs and a crown positioned at nine o'clock — the tell-tale detail that immediately identifies the Calibre 11 and sets the Monaco apart from every other chronograph ever made. The opaline blue dial carries silver-tone index hour markers and luminescent red hands, with a small seconds subdial at three, a 30-minute counter at nine and a date window at six. At its heart beats the TAG Heuer Calibre 11, an automatic column-wheel chronograph movement visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback. The fixed stainless steel bezel frames the case cleanly. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres. The watch is presented on a black calfskin leather strap with a stainless steel folding clasp.
