TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 5 Day Date
TAG Heuer was founded in Saint-Imier, Switzerland in 1860 and built its entire identity around precision timekeeping for sport and motorsport. The Carrera, introduced in 1963 by Jack Heuer and named after the legendary Carrera Panamericana road race, remains the brand’s most enduring and versatile reference. The Calibre 5 Day-Date is the purest three-hand expression of the Carrera — a clean, elegant watch that carries the collection’s racing DNA in its proportions and detail without any of the complexity of a chronograph.
Reference WAR201C-1 is a 41 mm stainless steel automatic day-date watch, 13 mm in thickness, with a polished case and a fixed steel bezel. The black azurage-finished dial carries applied rose gold-tone index hour markers and matching luminescent rose gold-tone hands, with a day and date display at three o’clock — a combination that gives the dial a quiet warmth against the dark background. At its heart beats the TAG Heuer Calibre 5, running at 28,800 vph with 25 jewels and a 38-hour power reserve, visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal carries anti-reflective treatment on both sides. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres. The watch comes on a leather strap with a polished stainless steel folding deployant clasp.
This TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 5 Day-Date is in near mint condition and comes with a full service on a fresh new leather strap.
