This Tag Heuer Autavia has a 42mm solid stainless steel case with a vintage-looking brown smoked dial and a black ceramic turning bezel. A curved sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective treatment provides water resistance to 100 meters. The strap’s steel folding clasp has double safety pushbuttons to avoid accidental opening. Ease of use and optimal legibility inform the Autavia dial and case design. The numerals and hands are coated with white Super-LumiNova®. The turning bezel is bidirectional. The clear dial has its date window at the bottom of the dial. The broad, pointed sword hands call to mind classic pilot’s watches. The Caliber 5 is at COSC specification.
