This Seiko is the modern reinterpretation of their original 1965 model and has a very high quality of finish. The dial is protected by curved sapphire crystal treated with an antireflective coating on the inner surface and water resistance has been increased from 150 to 200 metres. The indexes, as well as the hour, minute and seconds hands, are coated with Lumibrite of a specially faded vintage colour matching the tones of dials and straps.
