Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Moon
Founded in Le Sentier in 1833, Jaeger-LeCoultre is among the most technically accomplished manufactures in Switzerland — a brand that designs and produces its own movements, tools and machine components entirely in-house. The Master Ultra Thin collection is where that expertise meets its most restrained aesthetic expression: watches of exceptional slimness and understated elegance that carry serious horological content beneath a deliberately calm surface. The Q1368471 is the most dramatic execution in the line — a deep black dial that absorbs light and lets the moon phase complication do the talking.
Reference Q1368471 is a 39 mm stainless steel automatic watch, just 9.3 mm in thickness, a remarkable achievement for a watch carrying a moon phase complication. The black sunray-brushed dial carries rhodium-plated dauphine hands and stick hour markers, with a date display at six o’clock integrated into the framing of the moon phase aperture. The moon phase disc itself features a deep blue background with a detailed silver moon and stars, calibrated to deviate by only one day every 577 years. At its heart beats the Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture Calibre 925AA, a 245-component automatic movement with 30 jewels and a 70-hour power reserve, visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal sits above. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres. The watch is presented on a black alligator leather strap with a stainless steel double folding buckle.
