The IWC Pilot’s Watch Double Chronograph Spitfire, reference IW371806, features a 44 mm stainless steel case with a matte black dial, bold luminous Arabic numerals, and rhodium-plated hands for exceptional legibility. Powered by the IWC caliber 79230 automatic split-seconds chronograph movement (based on the Valjoux 7750 with IWC’s proprietary rattrapante module, offering a 44-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vph), it provides hours, minutes, small seconds, day-date display at 3 o’clock, chronograph functionality, and a split-seconds hand for timing multiple intervals simultaneously.

A convex sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides ensures clarity and resistance to sudden pressure drops, while the soft-iron inner case protects the movement from magnetic fields — a hallmark of IWC’s aviation engineering. With 60 meters of water resistance, the watch offers daily practicality alongside its technical capability. The model is fitted on a brown calfskin leather strap with a stainless steel pin buckle, complementing its vintage pilot aesthetic.
