The silvered opaline dial carries black Roman numerals, luminescent rhodium-plated sword-shaped hands and a minute track around the outer rim, with a small seconds subdial at six o'clock and a date window at three o'clock. The hidden Cartier signature sits at the ten o'clock Roman numeral. At its heart beats the Cartier Manufacture Calibre 1904-PS MC, an in-house automatic movement running at 28,800 vph with 27 jewels and a 48-hour power reserve, visible through the exhibition sapphire caseback. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal sits above. The crown is set with a faceted blue synthetic spinel in Cartier's signature style. Water resistance is rated to 30 metres.
