Cartier Calibre de Cartier
Founded in Paris in 1847, Cartier has shaped the course of luxury watchmaking for over 175 years — a maison equally at home in haute joaillerie and serious horology. The Calibre de Cartier, introduced in 2010, marked a significant moment for the brand: the first mass-production Cartier powered by an in-house manufacture movement. The W7100039 is the steel and rose gold expression of that collection — combining a polished stainless steel case with an 18k rose gold bezel for a two-tone character that sits naturally between sport and dress.
Reference W7100039 is a 42 mm stainless steel automatic watch, 10 mm in thickness, with a polished case and a fixed 18k rose gold bezel. The silvered opaline dial carries black Roman numerals, luminescent rhodium-plated sword-shaped hands and a minute track around the outer rim, with a small seconds subdial at six o'clock and a date window at three o'clock. The hidden Cartier signature sits at the ten o'clock Roman numeral. At its heart beats the Cartier Manufacture Calibre 1904-PS MC, an in-house automatic movement running at 28,800 vph with 27 jewels and a 48-hour power reserve, visible through the exhibition sapphire caseback. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal sits above. The crown is set with a faceted blue synthetic spinel in Cartier's signature style. Water resistance is rated to 30 metres. The watch is presented on a leather strap with a stainless steel deployant clasp.
This Cartier Calibre de Cartier is in near mint condition and comes as a full set.
