Breitling Skyracer Chronograph
Founded in Saint-Imier in 1884, Breitling built its entire identity around precision instruments for aviation and extreme sport. The Skyracer, introduced in 2007 as part of the Professional collection, was developed for a new generation of high-performance athletes — skydivers, BASE jumpers and aerobatic pilots who needed a chronograph that could withstand extreme G-forces and remain instantly readable in any condition. It is one of the most purposeful and underrated watches Breitling has produced in the past two decades.
Reference A27362 is a 43.5 mm stainless steel automatic chronograph, 16 mm in thickness, with a screw-down crown and pushers at two and four o'clock. The black sunburst dial carries luminescent stick hour markers and matching luminescent hands alongside a dual-register chronograph layout: a combined 12-hour and 30-minute counter at nine o'clock and a date window at six. The Breitling Calibre 27, based on the ETA 2892-A2, is COSC-certified. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal sits above. The bidirectional rotating bezel carries a slide-rule scale for aviation and sport calculations. Water resistance is rated to 200 metres. The watch is fitted on a stainless steel Professional II bracelet with a fold-over clasp.
This Breitling Skyracer is in very good condition and comes as a full set.
