Breitling Aerospace Avantage
Breitling was founded in 1884 by Léon Breitling in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, and has always positioned itself at the intersection of precision timekeeping and professional instrument design. The Aerospace collection, first introduced in 1985, is one of the brand's most iconic lines — built in close cooperation with aviation professionals and long regarded as the ultimate cockpit companion for the wrist.
The Breitling Aerospace Avantage, reference E79362, is a well-executed 42 mm full-titanium instrument watch with a clean white analog dial featuring luminescent baton hour markers and Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock, complemented by two digital LCD displays that bring all the multifunction capabilities to life. The unidirectional rotating titanium bezel adds a practical timing layer in true pilot's watch tradition. At its core sits the COSC-certified Breitling Calibre 79 SuperQuartz, a thermocompensated ETA-based movement accurate to within ±15 seconds per year — a specification that puts most standard quartz movements firmly in the shade. The impressive feature set includes a perpetual calendar, 1/100th second chronograph, dual time zone with independent alarm, countdown timer, UTC mode and an NVG-compatible backlight. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial. Water resistance is rated at 100 metres. The watch is fitted on the Breitling Professional II titanium bracelet with a fold-over safety clasp.
This Aerospace Avantage is from 2005/2006, is in near mint condition and comes with a full service. Comes in the Breitling service box.
