Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 17 Limited Edition
Founded in 1860 in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, TAG Heuer has built its reputation on a deeply rooted passion for motorsport and precision chronometry. The Carrera collection, first introduced in 1963 by Jack Heuer and named after the legendary Carrera Panamericana road race, remains the brand's most celebrated and collectible chronograph line — and the CV211A represents one of its most desirable modern expressions.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 17, reference CV211A, is a beautifully executed 41 mm stainless steel chronograph limited to just 500 pieces worldwide. The deep blue sunburst dial with three recessed silver subdials, a tachymeter outer ring and red accents on the chronograph seconds hand and Heuer logo gives this watch a genuinely striking and period-correct character — a layout that pays direct homage to the original 1960s Carrera. At its heart beats the TAG Heuer Calibre 17, based on the ETA 2892-A2 with a Dubois-Dépraz chronograph module, running at 28,800 vph with a power reserve of approximately 42 hours — a smooth and reliable movement well suited to daily wear. A domed sapphire crystal protects the dial. Water resistance is rated at 100 metres. The watch is fitted on a black calfskin leather strap with a folding deployant clasp.
This Carrera Calibre 17 is in very good condition and comes as a full set, with a new blue leather generic strap.
