In homage to Squale's glorious past, the Sub-39 series evokes a model produced by Squale in the late 1950s. At that time, Von Buren, the founder of the brand, designed and manufactured watch cases for the most popular brands in the watch industry.

In 2019, to commemorate Squale's 60th anniversary, the brand introduced a first 150 limited edition model from the new Sub-39 series. Now there is a range of different models to choose from, all characterized by a distinctive vintage charm.
