In homage to Squale's glorious past, the Sub-39 series evokes a model produced by Squale in the late 50s. At that time Von Buren, the brand's founder, was designing and manufacturing watch cases for the most popular brands in the watch industry. 

In 2019, to commemorate Squale's 60th birthday, the brand introduced a 150-limited-edition first model from the new Sub-39 series. Now there is a range of different models from which to choose, all of them characterized by a distinctive vintage charm.
