Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional Sapphire
Founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1848, Omega has built one of the most storied reputations in Swiss watchmaking — as official timekeeper of the Olympic Games, as the watch worn on the Moon during all six Apollo landings, and as the brand that has consistently pushed the boundaries of movement precision and certification. The Speedmaster Professional, introduced in 1957 and NASA-qualified for manned space flight in 1965, is the most historically significant chronograph ever made.
Reference 310.30.42.50.01.002 is a 42 mm stainless steel manual-winding chronograph, 13.2 mm in thickness, with the asymmetrical case, twisted lugs and black step dial that have defined the Speedmaster since the Apollo era. The matte black step dial carries printed luminescent hour markers and rhodium-plated hands, with three subdials in the classic 3-6-9 layout: a small seconds register at nine, a 30-minute counter at three and a 12-hour counter at six, plus an applied Omega logo at twelve. At its heart beats the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861, METAS-certified and resistant to magnetic fields in excess of 15,000 gauss. Both front and caseback are protected by sapphire crystal — with the exhibition caseback revealing the movement within. The watch is fitted on a brushed and polished five-link stainless steel bracelet with a push-button folding clasp and comfort extension.
This Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch Co-Axial Master Chronometer is in near mint condition and comes as a full set with factory warranty until 2027.
