Reference 2542.80.00 is a 41 mm stainless steel quartz diver’s watch, 11.2 mm in thickness, with a combination satin and polished case and a screw-down crown bearing the Omega logo. The blue guilloché wave-pattern dial carries applied luminescent dot and stick hour markers and luminescent losange-style hands, with a date window at three o’clock. At its heart beats the Omega Calibre 1538, a rhodium-plated quartz movement with a battery life of approximately 42 months. The domed sapphire crystal carries anti-reflective treatment. The unidirectional rotating stainless steel bezel carries a 60-minute elapsed-time scale. A helium escape valve sits at nine o’clock. Water resistance is rated to 300 metres. The watch is fitted on a stainless steel bracelet with an Omega signed flip-lock clasp.
