The Seamaster Planet Ocean, launched in 2005, is the brand's dedicated professional dive watch — drawing directly on the DNA of the original Seamaster 300 from the late 1950s and built to perform at serious depths.

The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M, reference 232.30.42.21.01.003, is a well-executed 42 mm stainless steel dive watch with a nicely structured black dial featuring luminescent index hour markers and broad arrow hands, brought to life by bold orange Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12 — a detail that gives this variant its unmistakable character. A date window sits at 3 o'clock. At its heart beats the COSC-certified Omega Co-Axial Calibre 8500, a fully in-house developed movement running at 25,200 vph with a power reserve of 60 hours — a movement that enthusiasts will know for its low-friction escapement and long service intervals. A domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial, while the black ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel adds both durability and a refined sporting look. The helium escape valve at 10 o'clock underlines the serious dive credentials. Water resistance is rated at an impressive 600 metres. The movement is visible through a sapphire exhibition caseback. The watch is fitted on a stainless steel bracelet with a deployment clasp.

This Seamaster Planet Ocean is from October 2013, is in good condition with traces of use on the polished parts of the case. Comes as a full set and a full service at Omega in 2019.
