Omega introduced the Seamaster in 1948 and has built it into its best-known sports line. The 2534.50.00 was made in 1998 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Seamaster, and its caseback refers to it. It combines the Diver 300M case with a second time zone.

Reference 2534.50.00 is a 41 mm stainless steel automatic GMT diver’s watch with a screw-in caseback. The black dial carries the wave pattern, large luminous hour markers and broad skeleton sword hands. A red arrow-tipped GMT hand shows a second time zone, and the date sits at three o’clock. At its heart beats the Omega Calibre 1128, a chronometer-certified automatic GMT movement. The domed sapphire crystal sits above the dial, and the rotating bezel carries a black and silver aluminium insert. Water resistance is rated to 300 metres. The watch is fitted on a stainless steel bracelet with a signed deployant clasp.
