The Longines Spirit 40, reference L3.810.4.53.6, is a well-executed 40 mm stainless steel pilot watch with a nicely structured matte black dial featuring applied Arabic numerals, Swiss Super-LumiNova, and a date display at 6 o'clock. At its heart beats the COSC-certified Longines Caliber L888.4, based on the ETA 2892 and upgraded with a silicon balance-spring for excellent precision, running at 25,200 vph with a power reserve of approximately 72 hours — serious specifications at this price point. A domed sapphire crystal with double-sided anti-reflective coating protects the dial. Water resistance is rated at 100 metres. The watch is fitted on a stainless steel bracelet with a triple-safety folding clasp.
