Founded in Paris in 1847, Cartier has spent over 175 years at the intersection of fine jewellery and precision watchmaking. The Roadster, introduced in 2002, marked a deliberate departure from Cartier's more classical offerings — an automotive-inspired collection drawing on the spirit of the great roadsters of the 1950s and 1960s, with a tonneau case and racing-inspired crown that gave it an energy entirely its own. The Roadster S is the larger, sportier expression of that concept, combining Cartier's signature elegance with a more assertive presence on the wrist.

Reference W6206017 is a 39 x 46 mm stainless steel automatic watch, 11,8 mm in thickness, with a brushed and polished tonneau-shaped case and a screw-down crown inspired by vintage racing chronometers. The silvered opaline dial carries black painted Roman numerals, a fine minute track along the inner rim and luminescent sword-shaped hands, with a date window at three o'clock beneath a cyclops magnifying lens. At its heart beats the Cartier Calibre 049, an automatic movement running at 28,800 vph with 21 jewels and a 42-hour power reserve. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal sits above a solid screw-down caseback. The fixed stainless steel bezel completes the clean case architecture. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres. The watch is fitted on an integrated brushed stainless steel bracelet with a hidden deployant clasp, and includes Cartier's quick-change strap system allowing for easy bracelet and strap switching without tools.

This Cartier Roadster S is in very good condition and comes in its original Cartier box. A full Cartier service was completed in June 2023, and we provide a one-year warranty.
